If you are going to stay in Virginia City, I personally recommend the Gold Hill Hotel, the Chollar Mansion, Edith Palmer's Bed & Breakfast, the Seven Mile Canyon Ranch, and the Virginia City RV Park (for campers).

The other places may be more of a "place to crash," which is all someone needs sometimes!

Most of our wedding party stayed at this hotel. We also spent our wedding night in the honeymoon suite. I just love this hotel. It has so much character and the customer service is awesome. This hotel catered our rehearsal dinner and the food was amazing. A++++++

For those who would like to save money and camp, I highly recommend the Virginia City RV park. The bathrooms are very nice, you get your own private restroom & shower, just like home. It is within walking distance of downtown.
