Our House in West Virginia

Heidi_Kevin_Butlers_Chapel_Web.jpg

This is the house we bought in December 2008. It is a cute little rancher in Martinsburg, West Virginia. It sits on one acre of land.

A March morning at our house in Gerrardstown, West Virginia.  Kevin and I owned this house from May 2005 through May 2008.

You can see the view of the ridge off to the right of our old house.

Our pretty, new mailbox that my parents put up at our old house in 2006.

Our driveway, garage, and my parents' RV.  They visited us for the second time in October 2006.

We lived in Gerrardstown, WV.
We moved here May 2005 for my job.  Kevin also found a job he really enjoys.  In December 2008, we bought a new house in between both our work locations.

ALL FROZEN ON THE EASTERN FRONT

Yes, even the crick freezes midstream.

What do you do when the water and hose are all frozen?  Hmmm....

Well, you have to wait until it's around 40 degrees when the hose thaws out so you can dump out the old ice (left) fill the water (middle), and fill the heated water (right), in case the water freezes again.  My pigeons will still take baths, even at 40 degrees.  If the temperature never gets up to 40 degrees, then I get to haul buckets of water.  So I'm very excited when I can use the hose.
