Pictures from December 2005, April 2006, and July 2007 trips to
New York City

This is Kevin & I in New York City in December 2005.  New York City is awesome!  I went back in April 2006 with my sister Holly & my nieces.  Kevin & I returned with Kevin's parents in July 2007.  NY City is only a 4 hour drive from our home in West Virginia.

This is the site of the twin towers.  Through the fence you can see the steel remains of a building support.  It broke in the shape of a cross.

This is a large piece of quartz on display at the church of St John the Divine.

This is Lady Liberty's prior torch.  It is kept at Liberty Island, where the Statue of Liberty is located.

St. Patrick's Cathedral
We went to the Cardinal's mass.  The church is amazing; a work of art.

Times Square
It's awesome, like being in the center of the world.

These are views inside the Statue of Liberty.  You can only walk to her base now.  They used to let people walk up to the crown, but they stopped because there is no fire escape.  They haven't let anyone walk up to the torch since around 1916.  You have to make reservations in advance to go inside the Statue's base.
